Is Pepe Jeans trying to tell us something with their new Spring ’09 ad campaign?

The ad campaign photos show all of their jeans in a relaxed fit. The washes are nice and give them a real rustic look which is sexy no doubt. I love the relaxed look on these models but is it a practical look for everyday? I think not. It’s a shame that their backsides can’t be seen too well in the ad photos.

The relaxed fit is definitely a predominat look in the Spring/Summer 2009 collection. Check out the extra room throughout the hips and inseam.

These jeans do not look as baggy as the white pair did but you can tell that these are still a relaxed fit by the way the jeans seem to lay low on her hips and throughout the inseam. Altogether, it’s not a bad look. I’d prefer thsi fit over the white wide leg style pictured above.

I think these wide leg blue jeans are growing on me. the more and more I look at this photo the more I end up liking them. These would be ideal for a shopping trip on a warmer day since they would not cling to your legs and make them sweaty.
